Found a Bird?
Because of the high instance of Bird Flu in wild birds, rescuers should take proper precautions. When you find a bird in need of rescue, we first recommend calling your local animal control department. If you do decide to handle a bird, be sure wear gloves, wash your hands, and change clothes to prevent the spread of this virus.
