As the devastating Southern California fires continue to burn, our thoughts are with all those that have been impacted.
We are grateful to the firefighters, first responders, and other emergency personnel working tirelessly to protect lives and wildlife.
While our efforts are focused on aquatic birds, our fellow wildlife responders are very busy dealing with displaced wildlife caught up in these firestorms. They deserve our support, too.
We stand ready to assist other wildlife groups affected by these fires – especially our longtime partner, California Wildlife Center in Calabasas that was evacuated this week as the Palisades Fire edged closer to its facility.
