We are pleased to see the release of a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) featuring International Bird Rescue and Today Show’s Al Roker in connection with the upcoming movie “Migration” from Illumination and Universal Studios. The Migration movie worked with the Bird Rescue to educate the public about the important work we do with wildlife. The PSA was created by students at the nonprofit Venice Arts.

The Migration story follows a family of mallards who try to convince their overprotective father to go on a vacation of a lifetime and attempt to migrate from New England, through New York City, and to Jamaica.
In December Bird Rescue will participate in a special showing of the Migration movie the week ahead of the movie’s Christmas premiere. The movie premiere is proving to be a great time to educate the public about Bird Rescue’s role in working with wildlife. Dawn Dish Soap also released a television ad featuring its product used to wash oiled birds and highlighting our efforts. Watch the ad here
