The week of the Yes We Peli-CAN! Virtual 5K has arrived! We can’t wait for you to get out there and get walking for the birds! As you complete your 5K, please remember to take pictures and share on social media. Use the hashtag #YesWePeliCAN and #IntBirdRescue to tag us and spread the word about our work at Bird Rescue. If you’d be willing to share, please send a favorite picture from your 5K to me as we’d love to feature you on our social media, and we usually put together a fun collage of all our participants each year. Quick Fundraising Update:
Our total as of this morning is $15,619 – AMAZING Work to everyone fundraising!
We still have to the end of this week to raise for this campaign, and sharing donate buttons with your social media posts about the race is a great way to do that. If you have donors that would like to give by check, just remind them to include Yes We Peli-CAN! and your name in the memo so we know where to attribute the gift.
Prizes for the event will be determined the week following the race. You can find the prize level breakdown in the attached picture. Team captains of the top fundraising teams will also receive a tumbler courtesy of our sponsor, Pelican Products!
