We’re excited to share that International Bird Rescue was featured in the Community Spotlight during last weekend’s San Francisco Giants game against the Los Angeles Dodgers! This special moment helped raise awareness about the vital work we do for waterbirds and the ongoing pelican crisis.
It all started with one #RallyPelican post on X last summer. Nearly 30,000 impressions later, Giants fans stepped up to the plate in a big way. Thanks to this incredible community support, we’ve been able to rehabilitate and release more than 100 Brown Pelicans back to the wild this season. We’re especially grateful to the Giants for being a voice for birds.
