Please join us on Wednesday June 14, 2022 at 6 PM, for an evening celebrating the mission of International Bird Rescue, and honoring those whose work has had an impact on the wildlife we love.

Keynote Speaker: Hailey Winslow

The keynote speaker is Hailey Winslow, an actress, FOX 11 Los Angeles television reporter, and adventure travel television host. has captivated people from all over the world with stories surrounding wildlife rehabilitation and environmental activism. She has covered wildlife emergencies that Bird Rescue has responded to as well, bringing essential visibility and support to our mission to rescue waterbirds in crisis.

Community Partner of the Year: Bart Selby

Wildlife Partners of the Year: Laird Henkel & Cori Gibble – California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW)

Volunteer of the Year-Northern California: Karen Sheldon

Duo Gadjo is the featured musical entertainment.

Live music by Duo Gadjo, jazz with a French twist that is largely inspired by the sounds of the 1920s and 1930s. Duo Gadjo’s repertoire, featuring Isabelle Fontaine on vocals, includes many French classics as well as standards from the Great American songbook.

Guests will also enjoy “flights” of wine and beer tastings, an array of delicious appetizers provided by Anne’s Catering, and a silent auction featuring amazing excursions, unique experiences, and gorgeous avian artwork and photography. Bidding for the silent auction begins June 1 at 8 AM.

This is at Freight & Salvage music venue in downtown Berkeley, CA. The Freight is accessible to people with disabilities. In order to best accommodate your needs, we request that you provide your seating requirements.
