Ariana Gastelum has a BA in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach. She started birdwatching around the age of 12, wandering around local wetlands and reserves with her mom and brother as well as watching live birdcams. Ariana began taking photos in 2018, capturing birds as her first subject.
