Devin Bergeles obtained her bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from the University of Oregon. In 2015, Devin joined International Bird Rescue as a wildlife clinic intern and has been working with Bird Rescue in different capacities ever since.
After working hands-on with animals in a clinic setting for several years, she is now a Projects Specialist for Bird Rescue. As a Projects Specialist, Devin works to bring continuity and follow-through to many different programmatic areas of Bird Rescue and contributes to the operational work of Bird Rescue in both preparedness and response, as well as helping to coordinate large projects and contracts. As part of the Response Team, she assists with training for oiled wildlife responders and most notably she recently traveled to Peru to work under Aiuka for two tours during the La Pampilla spill response.
