Kadi Erickson attended Long Beach City College and California State University, Long Beach, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, with a specialty in Organismal Biology in 2019.
She came to Bird Rescue hoping to learn more about specialized aquatic bird care and oiled bird care. Before joining the Bird Rescue team, she has been an animal keeper, volunteer marine science educator, saltwater aquarist, biological consultant monitoring the endangered California Least Tern, wetlands restoration technician, whale watch naturalist, mammal and bird rehabilitator, grant writer, and researcher.
Kadi has received awards for her work as an academic club founder and president, and for completing more than 1000 hours of volunteer service.
