Kelly Nesbitt

Finance and Administration Associate

Favorite bird: Western Snowy Plover

Hobbies: Creating and admiring art, exploring nature and charming small towns, reading, and cooking

Kelly Nesbitt has a bachelor’s degree in business management from California State University, East Bay and several years of experience in finance. She has dreamed of using her skills and time to work for something that ignites her spirit and that positively impacts the natural world. Bird Rescue is just that! Although wildlife care and non-profit are new to Kelly, her admiration and respect for wildlife, especially waterbirds run deep.

Kelly’s journey with Bird Rescue started when she became a volunteer in animal care, hoping to gain knowledge and insight on the birds she sees frequently around the Bay Area and Northern California coastline. When a position opened up on the administrative side that aligned with her skills and experience, it was an easy choice and an opportunity that Kelly describes she will forever be grateful for.
