You are invited you to an informative online webinar Thursday, July 25th on managing the 2024 California Brown Pelican Crisis as it starts to wind down. Since mid-April, over 400 starving and injured pelicans have been admitted to Bird Rescue’s two wildlife centers. Staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to provide them with the care they need to return to the coast. Thanks to these efforts, more than 180 resilient birds have been released so far.
You will hear from CEO JD Bergeron and Los Angeles Wildlife Center Manager Kylie Clatterbuck, who will share their experiences rising to the challenges during this response.
